"This was our first visit to the beautiful piano music festival held in the premises of Royal Russell School where we were warmly greeted. The setting was lovely and reassuring, as my son and myself both decided to participate in the festival. There were pupils from different levels of learning, all who displayed an eagerness to learn and did not shy away from the adjudicators guidance."
 
The adjudicator, Mr Barratt was fantastic! It was a sheer delight to hear him play the piano while he taught participants, he put us all at ease and was very gentle, yet detailed in giving us an understanding of every music piece that the participants played on stage. There were certificates handed out to all participants along with constructive comments from the adjudicator, this proved to be very encouraging.
 
Overall it was an in-depth learning experience, a 'learning to improvise our skills', and an enjoyable one too. We would definitely attend this festival again. Thank you!"

When the adjudicator was telling me my improvments they started to make sense and were really helping me to understand what I needed to improve. It was quite a blast and it helped me cope with a new and improved piece. I really enjoyed playing a piece that honestly needed a bit more enhancement.
