We are pleased to announce that the entry system for the 2027 festival is now open to receive your entries.​

Please look closely at the syllabus because there are some modifications, especially

within the Speech section, and we also have some exciting new sections, namely, a

comprehensive section for rock musicians and singer-songwriters and, within our

ever-popular South Asian sections we have classes for Kandyan drumming and

Classical Sri Lankan Dance.

We would also draw your attention to the Musical versatility classes – both within

Western and South Asian musical formats – and we have a new cash prize class,

organised in conjunction with Words & Music, for a performer to present a themed

short recital of English art song and verse.

Please note the closing date carefully as any entries received after this date will

necessitate manual entry with, subject to space being available, an added

administration fee.
