ATTENTION ALL ROCK BANDS, SOLO ELECTRIC GUITARISTS & SINGER SONGWRITERS

Following the launch of the syllabus we have been approached by performers who are interested in entering a rock band, as an electric guitarist or entering as a singer songwriter and we will be adjusting the syllabus for 2027 to reflect that new interest.

For 2026, we would be pleased to have rock bands entering one of class PC16, 17 or 18. These classes will be jointly adjudicated by the percussion, guitar and vocal specialists.

For 2026 singer songwriters can enter any of the Guitar or Vocal classes. These classes will be jointly adjudicated by the guitar and vocal specialists.

For 2026 any electric guitar soloist can enter any of the guitar ability level classes.

When entering under these provisional arrangements for rock bands, solo electric guitarists or singer songwriters please submit an additional explanatory message to cpafchair@gmail.com so that you can be allocated a separate performing time.

CPAF WILL PROVIDE A BASIC DRUM-KIT AND 3 AMPS; Please bring any additional equipment and microphones.
